The Dipper, a little bird associated with healthy rivers and water ways. Often seen ‘dipping’ in and out of the water in search of small fish and insects – it can be seen in special places along the Calder and the rivers connected to it. We decided to have the dipper as our logo and a symbol of our work because we think it represents our ambition of creating a wildlife rich and healthy river, and one day we will hope to see this little bird along the entire river.
